Panorama on Demand, Part Two!

June 29, 2012

We had such a wonderful opening reception tonight at Pepperell Mills–nearly 225 people came see the panorama, watch the debut of the film, and  enjoy snacks, music and rather impressive tableaux vivants!

If you attended the opening, your probably like most in that you watched the film for a few moments and then wandered back off to the bar.  Well, know that if you would like to see the whole  in its entirety (when you haven’t been drinking)  you can find it on our website

That’s and then just hit the button that says “Watch the Film.” Be prepared for a treat!  We had some of the best folks in New England working on this project: Bill Millios of Back Lot Films, who has created the feature films Dangerous Crosswinds and Old Man Dogs; Michael Howard, an equity actor whose resume of performances ranges from Shakespeare to musicals; and Jeff Rapsis, part owner of Manchester, New Hampshire’s Hippo Press, and an accomplished accompanist for silent film revivals.

By now you may know that we’ll be teaming up with Jeff once again for live performances of the panorama replica on City Hall Stage Auditorium: Friday, August 3, and Friday, August 31 (during Biddeford Art Walk).  More info on the Dyer Library/Saco Museum website HERE.
